Focused on structural issues and the functionning of organizations, this research field concentrates on information technologies, organizational systems, human resources, audit and controling.

Information Systems Management

Boosted by the expansion of new technologies, the development of new forms of organization is mainly focused on the increase of the companies' flexibility and performance. Nevertheless, because of the complexity of their environment, information systems need a systemic approach, in order to eliminate techno-centered visions that could not take into account the effectiveness of those systems. This area of research links up its subjects by combining: strategy, technologies and organization. Media such as Internet technologies, integrated systems, CAD, etc. are the basic research subjects on themes such as: management of  IT implementation, appropriateness and efficiency of information systems, knowledge management, norms and standards aiming the systems' interoperability, new forms of organization and organizational change.

Organization Dynamics

Research in this area is related to the governance issues, financing and controling. Research focuses on comparative analyses between the norms and the companies' accounting practice. The main subjects are: accounting and comparative audit practice, accounting harmonization, the determining factors of a company's accounting choises, the international accounting norms, etc.
