Currently, the GSCM research center counts 31 permanent research faculty, 3 adjunct professors and 12 teaching faculty members (titled 'associate' members). Additionally, the research center hosts every year 10 research assistants (PhD candidates of the Montpellier University).

29 out of the 31 permanent research faculty members hold a PhD including four professors entitled with a habilitation for the supervision of doctoral research degree (French post-doctoral degree 'HDR', Habilitation à diriger les recherches). Three others are currently enrolled in a HDR process. The internationalization of the research faculty continues to progress with today 10 professors of foreign nationality.

5 out of the 12 teaching faculty members ('associate' members) also hold a PhD.
