Entrepreneurial Marketing Summit 2011

In May 12-13, 2011, GSCM organizes the European Entrepreneurial Marketing Summit. Organizers: Katherine Gundolf & Annabelle Jaouen.

Entrepreneurial Marketing (EM) has become in the last twenty years a promising field of research. This interface between the two research fields of entrepreneurship and marketing treats about marketing decisions taken by entrepreneurs, and not as traditionally supposed by managers (Hills et al., 2010). On a higher level, EM addresses a certain number of questions in both fields of research. The purpose of this summit is to stress some of these issues. Specially, two points will be highlighted:

  1. Entrepreneurial Marketing Theory (e.g. EM constructs for empirical research, theoretical foundations of EM, measuring EM, etc.)
  2. Entrepreneurial Marketing Application (e.g. SME Marketing, Family Firm Marketing, New Venture Marketing, EM Education, etc.)
